Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED) encourages the development of Outaouais business communities by directly assisting this region’s businesses with their projects. CED also helps the economic development players and organizations that support those businesses.
Outaouais region benefits from its proximity to the major urban centres of Montréal, Laval and Ottawa and to its reputation for international tourism. The economy is mainly based on the tertiary sector, tourism, forestry, agri-food and government administration.
