Business and Regional Growth: Outaouais
The Business and Regional Growth program strengthens the conditions conducive to the sustainable growth of Quebec’s regions and small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Administered by the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, this program, in effect from April 1, 2007 to March 31, 2012, centres on two main components: SME Competitiveness and Sectoral and Regional Growth.
The Agency’s priority for Outaouais is to support projects that promote the development of the following sectors:
- high technology
- tourism
- agrifood processing
- forest products processing.
Support is offered in the areas of:
- productivity support
- innovation and natural resources testing and experimentation support
- export support
- innovative business startup support.
