This report presents the audit, made in January 2008, of the Funding Component of the Social Economy Support Initiative for Quebec for the first year of operation of the Fiducie du Chantier de l’économie sociale (the Fiducie).

The examination looks at the effectiveness of the implementation of the Funding component and the progress achieved in the attainment of results.

Implementation of the Initiative has been governed since November 2006 by the Contribution Agreement between the Agency and the Fiducie.
