Programs

Your enterprise or organization could be eligible for one of the following programs in accordance with priorities established by the Agency and its 14 business offices or for one of the temporary initiatives put in place to offset specific economic situations.

Programs

Community Diversification
The Community Diversification program helps Quebec regions maintain and develop their economic activity base. The program has three components:
  • community mobilization;
  • community development;
  • attractive communities.
Business and Regional Growth
The Business and Regional Growth program reinforces the conditions conducive to the sustainable growth of Quebec’s regions and SMEs. The program has two main components:
  • SME Competitiveness;
  • Sectoral and Regional Growth.
Community Futures Program
The Community Futures Program (CFP) supports local economic development and strengthens the ability of communities to achieve their full potential in a sustainable way.
Infrastructure Programs
Infrastructure programs help to achieve a stronger economy, a cleaner environment and more prosperous, safer communities.
Regional Development Study program
The Regional Development Study program helps generate and disseminate knowledge that strengthens the capacity of economic development stakeholders to take informed action to influence the development of their regions.

Initiatives

Community Adjustment Fund
The Community Adjustment Fund (CAF) is an initiative of Canada’s Economic Action Plan. This Fund is intended to mitigate the impact of the economic downturn in the short term.
Temporary Initiative for the Strengthening of Quebec's Forest Economies
The Temporary Initiative for the Strengthening of Quebec's Forest Economies ( TISQFE) is a diversification and support measure intended for communities affected by the forestry crisis.
Linguistic Duality Economic Development Initiative
The aim of the Roadmap for Canada’s Linguistic Duality Economic Development Initiative, an offshoot of the “Roadmap for Canada’s Linguistic Duality 2008-2013: Acting for the Future”, is to foster the economic development of official-language minority communities.
