Supports development and the promotion of mineral exploration in Quebec. Offers information on government programs, contacts and general information on the industry.
Association de la recherche industrielle du Québec (ADRIQ) (french)
In association with CED, the ADRIQ makes a network of advisors available to industrial SMEs in each of the regions of Quebec to promote a more technologically innovative structure and facilitate obtaining R&D tax credits.
Association of Health Technologies Industry (AITS)
Association of Health Technologies Industry (AITS)
Through its ExportMED division, the AITS provides support and assistance for Canadian firms participating in world-class trade fairs. ExportMED promotes strong representation by Canadian industry under a single banner at these fairs, thus allowing firms to maximize their impact and increase their visibility on foreign markets.
BDC
NEXPRO and Going Global are joint initiatives between Canada Economic Development and the BDC that provide group mentoring services and individual consulting services to guide enterprises in developing their export strategy.

Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM)
An advanced technical group of professionals in the mineral and materials industries. Its activities promote networking and the transfer of knowledge among industry members. CIM organizes conferences and makes publications available to its members.
Canadian Technology Network (CTN)
Owing to a national network of experts comprising in particular the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) and Canada Economic Development advisers, the CTN gives entrepreneurs at the startup stage access to competent resources for answers to their questions of a technological and commercial nature.
CANMET Energy Technology Centre
As an energy diversification research laboratory, CANMET helps Canadian corporations take advantage of new technologies by using energy efficiently and responsibly. It provides research and development services and technological consulting that helps clients find solutions to their technical problems.

Offers agri-food consulting services, production space and laboratories to stimulate the technological advancement of bio-food enterprises.
Centre d’affaires et du commerce électronique (french)
Offers individual coaching services to SMEs in order to give them guidance in adjusting to the shift toward e-commerce and inform them of the resources available. In co-operation with the Electronic Commerce Institute, offers e-commerce training and watch services.
Conseil de la transformation agroalimentaire et des produits de consommation (CTAC) (french)
The CTAC is the largest network of enterprises in the food processing industry. Its main purposes are to provide its members with the best tools to deal with the competition, establish measures to improve the quality of its members’ products and promote their interests with other players in the agri-food industry.

Faculté de médecine vétérinaire de l’Université de Montréal (FMV) (french)
Conducts research in association with the industry to improve the quality of products, including animal products, as well as to monitor animal diseases and pathogens that could infect humans. The FMV develops new vaccines and drugs for animals.
Food Research and Development Centre
Supports the research and development efforts of food and beverage processing enterprises. The FRDC specializes in food preservation, processing and quality.

Canada’s national wood products applied research institute. Offers consulting services to SMEs in order to increase productivity, develop new products and procedures and enhance their investment.
Groupement des chefs d’entreprises du Québec (french)
Assistance is offered mainly to members and is intended to increase their productivity. PDG, a diagnostic tool, helps SMEs compare themselves to similar enterprises. In partnership with CED, offers the services of a network of experts to simplify and speed up projects.
Institut de biotechnologie vétérinaire et alimentaire (IBVA) (french)
This research centre is run jointly by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, St Hyacinthe, and Agriculture and Agri-food Canada. It offers research and training services and promotes partnerships with industry in order to conduct technology transfer projects.

Identifies new mineral exploration techniques.
Network of Federal Research and Development Organizations in Quebec
These institutions share scientific knowledge with SMEs, are involved in enhancing SMEs and advance our knowledge of the world and its inhabitants.
NRC Biotechnology Research Institute (NRC-BRI)
Works with enterprises to draw up research agreements with shared risk and costs by offering its scientific expertise and by working out licencing agreements to develop products and procedures.
NRC Crossroads for Industrial Materials Innovation (CIMI)
Focussed on the needs of entrepreneurs, CIMI provides a physical incubation facility that stimulates the creation of new companies and encourages existing firms, SMEs in particular, to expand through the adoption, development and implementation of advanced technologies applied to materials and manufacturing.
Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
The Technology Development Assistance Program is a joint initiative between CED and the OIQ that offers SMEs wanting to evaluate and improve their technological capacities the consulting and guidance services of human resources knowledgeable in technology.
Québec Biotechnology Innovation Centre (QBIC)
Pre-incubation and incubation services for enterprises at the pre-startup and startup stages. Offers laboratories and offices to researchers-entrepreneurs and a bank of technologically advanced scientific equipment and tools to enterprises, on a shared-time basis. Fund for pre-startup biotechnology enterprises.
Québec Forest Industry Council
Networking, economic activity and industry representation services. Consulting and training for the standardization of enterprises and monitoring of product quality.
Quebec Mining Association Inc (AMQ)
Makes available to its members a variety of resources and services, including a team that specializes in accident prevention and the work environment (techniques, training and information), consulting services on government legislation, regulations and policies and networking activities for industry partners.

Helps Network members market their products and services through a complete set of tools specifically tailored to information technology and multimedia.
Réseau Trans-Al inc
Represents and provides shared services for a group of enterprises in the aluminum sector in regional chapters. The purpose of the network is to implement services that enable enterprises to grow by pooling their strengths.
Sous-traitance industrielle Québec (STIQ)
Offers a range of specialized services in research and assessment of industry partners in Quebec and abroad. Promotes the establishment and strengthening of business relations among enterprises.
