What is an RSS news feed?

An “RSS” (Really Simple Syndication) news feed gives you access to the latest news by providing you with content details (date, title, brief description) and a hyperlink to the full news articles.

How do I subscribe to an RSS news feed?

Click on the orange RSS graphic for the feed you want, copy the URL from the address bar of your browser and paste it in the appropriate field of your RSS reader.

RSS reader

A special tool known as an “RSS reader” or “RSS aggregator” is needed to access an RSS news feed. This tool enables the user to view the latest news from dozens, even hundreds of Websites in one centralized location without having to visit these sites or to communicate personal information. Free RSS readers are easily available for download on the Internet.
