Through the Québec – Chaudière-Appalaches Business Office, the Agency encourages the development of Québec business communities by assisting the region’s SMEs with their projects directly. We also assist economic development stakeholders and the economic organizations that support these SMEs.

Regional priorities
In the Québec region, the Agency gives priority to projects that foster the development of the following sectors:
- Life sciences, health and nutrition (human health/medical equipment, agro technologies/ agri-food)
- Applied technologies (optic-photonics, computerized solutions and technologies, security-defence)
In the Portneuf RCM, the Agency rather gives priority to projects that foster the development of the following sectors:
- Agri-food and agro technologies
- Materials processing (secondary wood processing, composite materials, plastics, metallic products)
In the Charlevoix and Charlevoix-Est RCMs, the Agency rather gives priority to projects that foster the development of the following sectors:
- Agri-food
- Forest products
- Tourism

- Offers professional support and specialized information services on all private and government programs and services to entrepreneurs in Eastern Quebec.
- Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs)
- CFDCs contribute to the economic development of their communities by providing services to enterprises: access to funding, technical assistance and support for local, youth and female entrepreneurship.

- CEDCs focus on the economic and social revitalization of the most disadvantaged urban neighbourhoods by stimulating the startup of small businesses in their areas.

- Supports SMEs in approving and developing new products or procedures. Financial assistance is awarded after the project has been assessed by an industrial technology advisor.
- Pôle Québec Chaudière-Appalaches
- Offers support services for projects most beneficial to the development of the technoregion and its enterprises. Holds activities (eg, conferences, workshops and seminars).
- Ag-Bio Centre (french)
- Offers incubator services, such as premises, scientific equipment and business training, to promote the development of enterprises and management knowledge transfer.
- Fonds d'emprunt économique communautaire (Québec) (FEÉCQ) (french)
- Access to credit and technical support in order for individual enterprises and groups of enterprises to carry out viable projects, including social economy projects.
