Through the Québec – Chaudière-Appalaches Business Office, the Agency encourages the development of Québec business communities by assisting the region’s SMEs with their projects directly. We also assist economic development stakeholders and the economic organizations that support these SMEs.
For the Quebec Metropolitan Community (comprising the Quebec Metropolitan Area, the City of Lévis and the Jacques-Cartier, Côte-de-Beaupré and Île-d’Orléans RCMs), the Agency gives priority to projects that foster the development of the following sectors:
For the Portneuf RCM, whose economy is more heavily based on the manufacturing sector, the Agency gives priority instead to projects that foster the development of the following sectors:
For the Charlevoix and Charlevoix-Est RCMs, whose economy is comparable to that of the outlying regions, the Agency gives priority instead to projects that foster the development of the following sectors:
