The Agency encourages the development of Outaouais business communities by assisting the region’s SMEs with their projects directly. We also assist economic development stakeholders and the economic organizations that support these SMEs.

Regional priorities

In the Outaouais region, the Agency gives priority to projects that foster the development of the following sectors:

  • Forest products processing

Development interventions cover both the Outaouais’ urban areas and rural belt.

CFDCs contribute to the economic development of their communities by providing services to enterprises: access to funding, technical assistance and support for local, youth and female entrepreneurship.

Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) of NRCLien externe
