Estrie Business Office
The Agency encourages the development of Estrie business communities by assisting the region’s SMEs with their projects directly. We also assist economic development stakeholders and the economic organizations that support these SMEs.
Regional priorities
In the Estrie region, the Agency gives priority to projects that foster the development of the following sectors:
- High technology intensity (environment, micro-electronic, new materials as well as biotechnologies and life sciences)
- Materials processing (metal products, rubber and plastic as well as nonmetallic mineral products)
- Security and defence

Our team of advisors delivers quality services. Working in our 14 business offices, they provide information, advice and guidance to businesses and non-profit organizations to help them with their economic development projects.

- Offers information services to businesses from all sectors and at every stage of development. Provides access to information on federal and provincial departments as well as to integrated information products and interactive tools.
- Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs)
- CFDCs contribute to the economic development of their communities by providing services to enterprises: access to funding, technical assistance and support for local, youth and female entrepreneurship.
