Centre-du-Québec Business Office
The Agency encourages the development of Centre-du-Québec business communities by assisting the region’s SMEs with their projects directly. We also assist economic development stakeholders and the economic organizations that support these SMEs.
Regional priorities
In the Centre-du-Québec region, the Agency gives priority to projects that foster the development of the following sectors:
- Materials processing (rubber, plastics and composites, metal products, manufacture of computer and electronic equipment as well as of electric material, furniture and milled wood)
- Transportation equipment and machinery
- Agri-food
- Residual materials recovery and conversion

Our team of advisors delivers quality services. Working in our 14 business offices, they provide information, advice and guidance to businesses and non-profit organizations to help them with their economic development projects.
Network of service delivery partners
- Info entrepreneurs
- Offers information services to businesses from all sectors and at every stage of development. Provides access to information on federal and provincial departments as well as to integrated information products and interactive tools.
- Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs)
- CFDCs contribute to the economic development of their communities by providing services to enterprises: access to funding, technical assistance and support for local, youth and female entrepreneurship.

- The Centres d'Aide aux Entreprises (CAE) play a role in the economic development of the regions they serve by providing SMEs with financial assistance and consulting services to stimulate the creation and maintenance of jobs.

- Supports SMEs in approving and developing new products or procedures. Financial assistance is awarded after the project has been assessed by an industrial technology advisor.
