The Agency encourages the development of Bas-Saint-Laurent business communities by assisting the region’s SMEs with their projects directly. We also assist economic development stakeholders and the economic organizations that support these SMEs.

Regional priorities

In the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, the Agency gives priority to projects that foster the development of the following sectors:

  • Renewable energy and environment
  • Metal products and innovative materials
  • Marine sciences and technologies
  • Tourism
