A day of networking and strategic information sharing

Haute-Côte-Nord Business Contact held on October 14, 2009The latest Business Contact event was held on October 14, 2009, in Tadoussac, under the theme of Economic Diversification: Winning Strategies for SMEs. No less than 181 business leaders and economic stakeholders from all over the Côte-Nord region gathered to take part in the array of activities designed to assist them in their entrepreneurial endeavours.  

Throughout the day, 51 lecturers and experts from various federal departments and agencies, the private sector and academia were on hand to provide information and help entrepreneurs turn their business projects into growth opportunities.

Haute-Côte-Nord Business Contact held on October 14, 2009The participants also sat in on conferences dealing with issues directly related to the regional economy, such as the future of forestry, challenges facing the tourism sector, human resources management and agri-food development.

Entirely dedicated to SMEs, Business Contact events offer entrepreneurs facing regional issues or challenges possible solutions they can use to grow their businesses.

An initiative of Canada Economic Development, the Haute-Côte-Nord Business Contact event was organized in conjunction with the SADC Haute-Côte-Nord and ICI Environnement.
